Recently we did a respite care for a customer called H, so that her daughter can go on a short break. Her daughter has been her main carer since dad passed away, and she needed a small break and didn’t want to leave mum in respite care in a care home, as this didn’t work very well last time.

She was referred to us by one of the ladies I go to networking with, referred her to us. Sylvia and I went to meet with the customer and the daughter and we had a casual conversation, and the daughter said that she has had a couple of agencies that she had a chat with and she decided to go with us before the end of the meeting as she said she already made her mind and she feels that we are the right company. One of our carers supported her and they had a lovely time together and H really enjoyed her company and her cooking. The carer learnt a lot about H story during the World War 2.
