During Care: Delivering with Dignity, Trust, and Heart

Once care is underway, our focus turns to building trusted relationships and delivering consistent, person-centred support. At MAUCARE, we see care as a collaboration — where the person receiving care, their family, and our care professionals work together as partners.

We don’t believe in “one size fits all.” Every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and supported with dignity, cultural sensitivity, and care that goes beyond a task list.

Here’s what you can expect during ongoing care:

  • Tailored Care Plans
Created in partnership with families and reviewed regularly, our care plans evolve as your needs change — ensuring every visit remains relevant and personalised.

  • Thoughtful Carer Allocation
We aim to match carers not only based on skills and availability but also on personality, interests, language, and background — to help foster meaningful connections wherever possible.

  • Continuity Where It Matters
While we can’t guarantee the same carer every time, we prioritise consistency in your care team and ensure smooth handovers so your loved one feels safe and supported.

  • Real-Time Visibility
Through digital platforms like Birdie, Looker, and Pulse, families and managers can track care notes, medication support, wellbeing updates, and alerts — offering full transparency and peace of mind.

  • Safe Medication Support
Our trained carers assist with or administer medication following clear protocols, care plans, and MAR charts — ensuring safety and accountability at every step.

  • Medical Liaison & Appointment Support
On request, we can take full or partial responsibility for healthcare-related tasks — including booking and attending GP appointments, managing prescriptions, liaising with pharmacies, and responding to emergencies. This can be arranged on a case-by-case basis with dedicated hours agreed in advance — giving families peace of mind that their loved one’s health needs are in safe hands.

  • Clear Communication & Feedback
We maintain regular contact through review calls, wellbeing updates, and a clear line of communication for any urgent concerns or family feedback.

  • Compassionate, Skilled Carers
Our carers are more than task-doers — they’re ambassadors of dignity, trained to treat every client as they would their own parent, friend, or grandparent. We invest in their ongoing development so they’re not just qualified — but also emotionally equipped to care.

We view this stage as a partnership — not a transaction. It's about trust, empathy, and ensuring that every client feels safe, respected, and truly cared for.
